Beginning from Small Beach and streching eastwards there is the Pine Wood, a beautiful walking area inside the urban breasts of the town. It does not only decorate this area, but the Pine Wood has also got an extraordinary curing and recreational function. In this breathtaking area there is also the „Ladies’ Beach“ with its sulphur springs, which are a real elixir for barren women. All the doctors from all over ex – Yugoslavia used to recommend to children who had problems with asthma to walk through this wood in the morning and to rinse their throats with this sea water. Therefore in summer this is a real promenade early at dawn. There are also a few cozy restaurants where you can have a drink but also eat something. The stay in such an area is an effective way to get rid of your stress which has come up, as well as to develop the sense of preserving and maintaining this area. As a confirming sign for this you can take the squirrels which you can see playing in the trees. The smell of the sea and the pinetrees will make you feel extraordinary.

The mosque was first erected in the 14th century by the Moors.[citation needed] It is assumed that they constructed the mosque so that their merchants could pray while trading on this part of the Adriatic Coast. The fact that the mosque was erected before Islam was established in Ulcinj indicates the surprise of the Ottomans, having found the sacred place at the sea shore in 1571. Ibrahim Pasha of Scutari (1797-1809) had the mosque rebuilt in appreciation for having survived the Battle of Krusi. He dedicated the mosque to the Ulcinj sailors who contributed to his family's success, hence the name – Sailors' Mosque. The small cultural center was established in 1798 and also served as a religious school and shelter for travelers and the poor. The mosque was closed and removed in 1931. In 1880, Ulcinj was occupied by Great Power forces and was given to the Principality of Montenegro. After World War I Montenegro became part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. In 1931 the military demolished the mosque. After 81 years it was rebuilt by private investors from Alanya, Turkey with the help of the Islamic Union of Montenegro and the Municipality of Ulcinj. The private houses in the mosque's vicinity were designated for congregants. Therefore, leisure time and family life became more fully integrated with daily prayers. On 4 November 2013, lightning partially damaged the top of the minaret.

Ladies Beach is a beach in Ulcinj, Montenegro. It is one of many beaches in Montenegro's South Coast with a special liking amongst the visitors to the region, as well as the local residents. Ladies Beach is known for its curious waters, a mixture of sulfur from an underwater spring, radium and sea salts. Pine resin from the sea trees at Ladies Beach, wafts in the air above the beach. Locals have long believed that Ladies Beach and its sea caves offer curative powers for ailments, and specific help to women with fertility issues.

Valdanos is a beach and major olive production region in Ulcinj Municipality, Montenegro. Valdanos Bay is one of many beaches in Montenegro's South Coast well-known to Montenegrins and visitors, which also include the nearby Ulcinj beaches at Velika Plaža, Ada Bojana, and Ladies Beach.[1] Valdanos beach is crescent-shaped, known for its round pebble shoreline that extends for 300 metres. The beach is part of a coastline at Valdanos that extends for approximately three kilometres[1]. The olive groves at Valdanos are among Montenegro's largest and most productive, encompassing more than 400,000 square metres and an estimated 18,000 olive trees.

On the cliff above Small Beach, this imposing monument is a lovely piece of socialist art that’s now neglected and covered in graffiti. Its two V-shaped white segments resemble a pair of fighter planes that have crash-landed on their noses. Closer inspection reveals them as stylised wings sprouting from the figures facing each other at the centre.

If you like active holidays, in Ulcinj you can try kite surfing which is an unusual but a very dynamic extreme sport. Kite surfing is a combination of windsurfing, wakeboarding, paragliding and surfing. It is a relatively new sport (1997 taken as the official year of the commercial kite surfing), but in a short time gained many supporters around the world. In Montenegro, the first Kite Surfers came in 2000, and since then, the Long Beach has become one of the leading destinations in Europe when it comes to Kite Surfing. The wind that blows almost every day in the Long Beach and a large number of sunny days during the year, are an ideal combination for this sport. Kiters use the power of the wind to kite; Kite serves for sailing and a surf board serves for sliding through the water. Kite surface varies from 5 to 20 m2 and the kiter is attached to harness (Triangle) which is usually carried around belly. Physical preparation for this sport is necessary, but not so important. It needs rather time and practice to learn it. It is not easy, but not even too hard. It is not necessary to be strong, but it is important to be careful and learn how to keep balance. For some 10-15 hours, the kite beginner can learn basic stuff and enter on the water. This sport is relatively safe, and each school has instructors and lifeguards, speed boats for transportation etc.

Ada Bojana is an island in the Ulcinj Municipality in Montenegro. The name Ada means river island in Serbo-Croatian. The island is created by a river delta of the Bojana River.[1] It is located on the southernmost tip of Montenegro, with the Bojana river separating it from Pulaj and Velipojë in the Albanian territory.[2] The island is of triangular shape, bordered from two sides by the Bojana river and by the Adriatic Sea from the southwest. It has an area of 4.8 square km. It is a popular tourist destination, with 3 kilometres (2 miles) long sandy beach with traditional seafood restaurants. Ada Bojana offers kitesurfing and windsurfing locations on the Adriatic Coast due to the strong cross onshore winds during summer afternoons. Ada Bojana's main income is from Camping.[citation needed] The New York Times included Ada Bojana and Montenegro's South Coast (including Velika Plaža and Hotel Mediteran) in a ranking of top travel destinations for 2010 – "Top Places to Go in 2010".

Long beach is a beach in Ulcinj Municipality, Montenegro. It stretches from Port Milena in Ulcinj to the Bojana River, which separates it from Ada Bojana. The sand beach's length is 12,000 meters (8 miles), one of the longest in Europe and the longest beach in Montenegro. The New York Times included Velika Plaža and Montenegro's South Coast (including Ada Bojana and Hotel Mediteran in a ranking of top travel destinations for 2010 - "Top Places to Go in 2010".

An ancient castle and neighborhood in Ulcinj, Montenegro. Today mostly inhabited by Albanians, it was built by the Illyrians on a small peninsula at the right side of the Pristan Gulf, which is part of the Adriatic Sea. Today, oldest remains are the Cyclopean Wall. The castle has been restored many times since it was first built although major changes were made by the Byzantinians, Serbs, Venetians, and Ottomans. The modern city of Ulcinj was built outside of this castle.
